Is firewood available for purchase?
We have firewood available for purchase at our store. To preserve the beauty of our wooded Resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
Can I bring my own firewood?
No, not at this time. Using only local firewood will help protect Alabama’s forests from damaging invasive pests like emerald ash borer, imported fire ant, and laurel wilt. These pests have caused major issues in Alabama and many other states. Nearby states harbor other pests which have the potential to thrive in Alabama, such as the giant African land snail, thousand cankers disease, and gypsy moth. Such pests pose a serious threat to the health of Alabama’s natural resources. These harmful insects can infest new areas when people transport firewood from one place to another.

For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts, into the resort. While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our resort easy…and fun!
